What a Bed Bug Problem Looks Like

The insect is thin, flat and about the size of an apple seed, and it will not be sitting in the open.

• Itchy welts appearing overnight, often in a short row where the insect fed more than once.
• Black speckling concentrated at the corners of the mattress and along the piping.
• Reddish-brown staining on the bottom sheet after a night’s sleep.
• Translucent moulted skins caught in the weave of the headboard fabric or in frame screw holes.
• A faint coriander-like odour when a badly affected room has been shut for a day or two.

Search outward from the bed rather than around the room. The piping, the headboard joint, the underside of slats and bedside drawer runners account for most of what we find. Cleanliness has nothing to do with it.

Our Treatment Process

Eggs are why single treatments fail. They sit glued deep in stitching where a surface application cannot reach, so heat does that part of the work.

1. Room-by-room check. We confirm which rooms are actually affected first, because in shared accommodation the complaint often comes from the room next to the source.
2. Steam. Seams, piping, fabric headboards, upholstery and curtains are worked over with steam, which reaches eggs lodged in stitching.
3. Residual into harbourages. Product goes into frame joints, slat ends, drawer runners and skirting — never across the mattress surface.
4. Laundry and bagging plan. We tell you what to wash hot, what to bag and how long to keep it sealed, so treated rooms are not reinfested from a cupboard.
5. Return at 14 days. Any eggs that came through the first visit will have hatched by then. The second treatment is included and is what closes the cycle.

Chemicals We Use

Residual products carry Central Insecticides Board & Registration Committee (CIB&RC) registration and are used at label dose. Because steam handles the sleeping surface, chemical application stays confined to frames, joints and skirting.

GST extra as applicable. The ₹299 visit charge is waived on orders above ₹999.

Service Warranty

The work carries a 6-month service warranty, and the 14-day return visit is part of the job, not a chargeable extra. If bed bugs reappear inside the warranty period we treat again at no cost. For hostels and PG blocks: treating one room in an affected building buys weeks, not a solution.

Preparing the Room

• Strip the bed and wash everything at 60°C or hotter, then seal it in a bag until we are done.
• Do not shift the mattress to another room; that is how a single room becomes three.
• Pull suitcases and storage boxes out from under the bed.
• Clear the bedside table and anything stacked against the headboard.
• Vacuum around the bed and put the bag straight into an outdoor bin.
• Keep children and pets out of treated rooms during the visit and for 2-3 hours after.

After-Treatment Care

• Do not rearrange the bedroom for two days. Sliding the bed back early pulls product out of the joints.
• Hold off washing frames and skirting for about a week.
• A few bites in the first week are normal. Disturbed insects move around before the residual catches them.
• If you have fitted encasements, leave them zipped for a year; anything trapped inside cannot feed.
• Get in touch if bites are still happening after three weeks, which is past the point the return visit should have taken effect.
