Where the Breeding Actually Happens

Aedes, which carries dengue and chikungunya, wants small pockets of clean water, not drains — which is why well-kept buildings still have a problem.

• Saucers under potted plants and money-plant bottles on balconies and in lobbies.
• Sumps and overhead tanks with a cracked, warped or missing cover.
• Junk holding rainwater on terraces and in setbacks — tyres, tins, cement bags, broken tiles.
• Silted terrace outlets and parapet channels that pond after a shower.
• Split AC drip trays and fridge defrost pans, which nobody checks for months.

Hyderabad also has the lake and nala network — Hussain Sagar, Durgam Cheruvu, the Musi and the storm channels feeding them — which sustains Culex, the night-biting nuisance species, on a scale no single building can treat away. Aedes is the one you can control on your own premises, and it is the one that matters for dengue.

Our Treatment Process

The sequence matters. Remove, then dose, then spray, then fog — doing it in the other order wastes the fogging.

1. Walk-through. Terraces, balconies, setbacks, sumps, pump rooms, planters and basements are checked and every standing-water point is listed.
2. Source removal. What can be tipped out and scrubbed is dealt with on the spot; the rest becomes a list of lids, meshes and drainage corrections for your maintenance team.
3. Larviciding. Water that has to stay — sumps, tanks, water features — is dosed so larvae never reach the adult stage.
4. Residual spraying indoors. Aedes rests on dark surfaces between feeds, so behind curtains, under furniture and in shaded corners gets a residual film.
5. ULV or thermal fogging. Basements, setbacks, landscaped areas, common corridors and event grounds are fogged for immediate knockdown.

Chemicals We Use

Larvicides and adulticides carry Central Insecticides Board & Registration Committee (CIB&RC) registration and are applied at label dose. Offices and venues are normally scheduled outside working hours so the area is ventilated well before anyone returns.

Pricing: By Area and Premises

Cost tracks the area to be covered, not the size of a flat. Treating one apartment’s balcony and terrace is a different job from fogging a gated community, an office floor or a banquet lawn.

Send the premises type and approximate area and we will quote. Associations and corporate sites usually move onto a monthly or fortnightly schedule through the season, which costs less per visit than reactive callouts. Venue fogging is quoted per event.

Service Warranty

Mosquito cover is set out in your quotation, because a single visit and a seasonal schedule are different commitments. The honest caveat: where the breeding is in a neighbouring plot, an open nala or a common terrace nobody maintains, a treated flat will keep seeing mosquitoes. We will point to the source rather than sell you another fogging round.

Before We Arrive

• Tip out plant saucers, buckets and open containers on balconies and terraces.
• Arrange access to the terrace, sump, pump room and setbacks.
• Tell us where aquariums and ornamental ponds are, and cover them.
• Put food away and cover stored water and utensils before any fogging.
• Keep children, pets and anyone with asthma out of the area during fogging and for 2-3 hours after.
• For events, give us the guest arrival time so fogging finishes well ahead of it.

After-Treatment Care

• Ventilate properly after fogging before people go back in.
• Leave indoor resting surfaces unwashed for a week — that residual film is the part that keeps working.
• Adults drop within hours; larviciding shows over two to three weeks. Judge it at the end of that, not the next morning.
• Keep containers dry. A single refilled saucer restarts a breeding cycle in about a week.
• Check tank and sump covers monthly through and after the monsoon.
